How do you refresh a well-known, established brand and its identity?

Glasurit is a leading paint manufacturer for the automotive industry. The brand has been around for more than 100 years and its brand mascot, the scarlet macaw, is very well known among the target audience.


Across the world there are thousands of body shops that use the Glasurit brand. So how can we update Glasurit’s messaging and design language while staying true to the brand’s values and identity?

The answer.

The scarlet macaw has always represented Glasurit’s colour expertise. We began by using him to create a suite of images for Glasurit’s new top-tier paint system – 100 Line.


We reworked Glasurit’s corporate design, giving the brand an exclusive high quality look and feel while staying true to Glausit’s design DNA.


Finally, we produced an online corporate design manual with template files and data sheets, making it easier than ever for marketing teams across the world to reproduce advertising materials which are consistently on brand.
